WEB CONTENT EDITOROne of the world's most distinguished architectural practices, SOM, seeks a Web Content Editor to oversee its internet and social media presence.Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running a website for a major cultural organization, media company or international corporation.Must be able to establish and continually maintain a strong web presence for SOM that communicates powerful and understandable messages about architecture, design,sustainability and innovation to a broad, international audience.The SOM Editor will lead web content strategy, curate evolving homepage content and create and manage editorial content calendars. The Editor will establish a cohesive voice and point of view for the firm throughout the website and various social media platforms.Requirements:• 5-10 years minimum of comparable experience and specific Web Editorial experience• Excellent visual / graphic sensibility• Stellar writing and editing skills• Ability to conceptualize and create content• Familiarity with content management systems and blogging / social media platforms (Tumblr, Facebook, Wordpress, Instagram, etc.)• Ability to quantify and qualify the user experienceCandidates will work closely with the firm's Partnership, website editorial board and firmwide communication staff and must be able to strategize, develop and obtain content -- both visual and written -- from a large cross section of the firm's architects, engineers,planners, and marketing staff.This position will reside either in the San Francisco or New York office.To apply, please submit resume at ww.som.com/careers under the Web Content Editor requisition.
