TECTONIC, a full-service, multi-disciplined professional engineering firm, is seeking a full-time Business Development/Marketing Associate to join our busy, fast-paced Business Development Department in our Long Island City, NY Office.The Business Development/Marketing Associate will be responsible for the preparation and coordination of proposal submissions; including research, outlining proposal requirements, technical writing, proofreading, formatting, printing, collating, and filing. Additional responsibilities include: event/tradeshow preparation, communications with various other departments to procure necessary resources for the BD Department, database entry and management, and all other duties as assigned. All applicants MUST have excellent written and oral communications skills, computer proficiency with the Microsoft and Adobe Suite programs, effective time management and multi-tasking skills, an ability to work in a demanding, busy, professional atmosphere, and the capability to work independently or in a team environment. Experience with Vision CRM software is preferred. Applicants should have a BS in Marketing, Communications, English, Graphic Design, or similar, plus a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
