NewWorld Capital Group, LLC is a private equity firm that invests in companies and related clean infrastructure projects in the energy efficiency, clean energy, water resources and reclamation, waste-to-value, and environmental services fields in North America.We are seeking an energetic and upbeat Office Manager to join our team in mid-town Manhattan. We value this role highly, as you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment as well as handling a range of management and administrative tasks. This position requires strong organizational and communications skills and flexibility to take on a variety of tasks and assignments. If you are a conscientious worker looking to join a cohesive team environment -- we want you to apply.Responsibilities• Cultivate and maintain a warm and welcoming reception for guest and colleagues• Schedule and setup meetings; coordinate travel plans and itineraries,• Post travel schedules to Outlook and keep travel profiles up-to-date• Answer incoming calls and direct them as appropriate• Coordinate catering for meetings and group lunches• Assist CFO to enter and process accounting using QuickBooks (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Corporate Credit Card Entries, Deposits, & Reconciliations) • Help design and implement office policies and procedures • Ensure security and confidentiality of data • Analyze and monitor internal processes and find ways to improve office organization • Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies • Supervise cleaning service and address building issues• Manage building safety and emergency response programs (e.g., fire drills) and related property management communications • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars• Manage mail and shipments, and monitor postage• Prepare correspondence, memos and presentations, and meeting materials as necessary.• Set up new employees, including coordination of benefits and payrollQualifications• Upbeat, discreet, and organized• Superior people and phone skills • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office • Ability to exercise sound judgment on highly sensitive and confidential matters• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize and multitask• Bachelor's degree a plusPlease email a resume and cover letter for immediate consideration.
